Oceanside can’t seem to figure out if it wants to rain or if it wants to be hot. Tuesday and Wednesday were promised to be torrential down pour for us here in southern California. In fact, I believe it sprinkled for about 30 minutes in the early morning- Just enough to mess up Scotty’s freshly waxed car. Yes, my husband decided to get his car washed, waxed, shampooed, and armoraled the day before we were all warned the rain was coming. He figured that if it rained hard it wouldn’t matter with a fresh wax- the water would just roll off. He would have been right, however it never really ‘rained’. So now there are dots every where! Anyway, today was a beautiful day. Mid-seventies, no clouds, no wind, no problems! I keep having hot flashes though because I dress for the cold in the morning and by the time recess comes it’s hot out. I won’t complain though because I am sure somewhere on the east coast (Virginia perhaps) the trees and becoming bare and the sun is nothing but a memory.

Moral of the Blog entry- There’s never a reason to complain about California weather.
