I don’t usually post on the weekends, but today has been exceptionally slow, so here I am. Today Scotty spent the entire day working on homework. I went grocery shopping, caught up on some TV, and read my book that I just can’t seem to get through- Eclipse (third book in the Twilight series). The weather started out perfect- sunny, clear, and warm. By mid-afternoon the haze rolled in and just did not motivate me to do anything productive. So, I decided to make a nice dinner- chicken kabobs and mom’s famous rice pilaf. We’ll spend the rest of the quiet evening at home watching Dexter Season 3 and perhaps catching up on this season’s The Office.

Moral of the Blog- Sometimes spending the day relaxing is just what you need to revamp from a long week!
