Well thanks, there’s still a lot to do. I wanted to move away from the sites hosted by companies and create something myself. This way I don’t have to worry about adds or loosing rights to my pictures. When we gonna see you guys next?
I tried using the videos, but it was more like a slide show. I think next weekend. We have a part in SD and were going to stop by on the way. Then I think Mimi is having a barbecue on Sunday. So both days. We already miss little Kayden. Did you get your new iPhone (are you holding it right or do you not have the signal problem).
Unfortunately the video is output in Flash for now so you won’t be able to view it on your iPad. Still a lot of work to do on the site but it’s fun building it all myself.
I got the new iPhone on Wednesday and it’s working out well. The signal issue really isn’t a big issue. It goes away if you use a case so hopefully my case will be getting in soon. I managed to sell my old iPhone for about the same price as the cost of the new one which makes the upgrade a little easier to get permission to do. They wouldn’t let Tiff do a normal upgrade so I ended up waiting in line and purchased another iPhone for $699. I’m listing that phone for $1,200 on eBay so we’ll see how that works out. Let us know if you’re going to be down in our area.
An apple guy like yourself using flash :). I read today that a software fix might come out next week to fix the connection issues. Good luck with selling the other one. Keep the pics coming. Like the little gift ones.
I know…it really hurts. I’m currently using google servers to host my pictures and video and at this point I don’t have a HTML 5 alternative. I’ll eventually get it working but this is part of the fun when you build the site on your own.
Hopefully the iPhone thing gets resolved soon because I’m already tired of hearing about it from non-iPhone people…almost like I had something to do with it:)
