On Friday we headed up to Orange County for a visit with my family. We enjoy going up there for many reasons, but we really like that we have family that just love up on Kayden. There is a line to hold her, feed her, and even change her! Scotty and I can sit back and just laugh at everyone competing for time with Kayden! This trip Nick even got in on it! He has been a little apprehensive around her, probably because she is still so small and seems ‘breakable.’ We have tried to assure him that if we haven’t broken her yet, it isn’t possible. He says when she is able to walk around and fall down that he will play with her more. But this trip he spent time with her on the couch making her smile. Her smile is infectious and can melt anyone’s heart!! All in all, we had a nice time with family.

I am going to print that picture out of you and your mom and baby Kayden! It is adorable 🙂 I love that Nick is a little timid around Kayden. He would hate for me to say this, but I still think of him as a baby and I am in disbelief that he can vote, drink, and is in college! All I know is that any boys interested in Kayden in the future are in trouble with Uncle Jer and Nick (and of course Gramps)
