This weekend we had a lot of family time, but finally Scotty and I had the opportunity to go on a date Saturday afternoon. Uncle Jer and Auntie Katrina came down to see Kayden and they really wanted to babysit. We visited for about an hour and then Scotty and I went out on a lunch date. We also ran a few errands! I didn’t call once… but I will admit, I did check the Kayden cam during nap time and I saw my princess sleeping soundly. Scotty and I had a great afternoon. Thanks Uncle Jer and Auntie Katrina!

On Sunday it was Addison’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe she is two already! Kim had an Elmo birthday party that was absolutely awesome. Kim is a natural party planner. She thought of everything from a surprise visit from Elmo himself to tasty party favors for the guests. We all said we didn’t know how she found the time to do everything… something about not sleeping the night before! Great party Kim!
