Kayden’s latest trick has been to bring me or Scotty one of her books to read to her. I initially thought she was just ‘sharing’ her book with me. Then I noticed one day that when she handed me the book that she started dancing (aka bouncing around). Of course her favorite time to have a story read to her is when we are trying to get other things done- heaven forbid I try to cook diner when she wants to read or Scotty try to put one of her toys together! 😉 Our nighttime ritual always involves a bedtime story though. Unfortunately, Kayden starts to say Ni-Ni (Night Night) as soon as I turn the lights down and set in to read her a story. While she might not always want a bed time story, she sure does enjoy her mid-day fairy tales! 🙂
