Kayden is an avid reader and she certainly has her favorite nap time/bedtime stories. When she was younger I could actually read the books to her and get somewhat lost in the story myself. Now, there is just too much print on the page for her attention span. I basically either make up a quick story to match the pictures or I just describe the picture and point out things she knows. Her favorite book for far too long was First 100 Words book. After she learned to identify every picture in that book she moved on to her Elmo books. I have no clue why Kayden loves Elmo- she loves her Elmo doll, Elmo books, and Elmo bath toys. But, she has never watched Elmo on TV! Either way, she loves Elmo so we are reading her Sesame Street books now. Luckily, the books are short and I can vary the story to keep my own interest!
