Kayden has always been a very cautious child. She still has no interest in climbing the stairs and sits on the counter while I buzz around the kitchen making meals. For whatever reason, we decided to get her a Barbie Quad for Christmas. This is a self-controlled vehicle that moves quickly and makes a lot of noise. The day she got it she wanted nothing to do with it. The next few days she would walk by it, touch it, and keep walking. Then, after watching Eli zoom around knocking into things and having a great time, she decided to push the button. And then she was really motivated to try this thing when she saw her Mimi having such a good time on it!

After watching Mimi give it a spin around the house, she decided to try it out!
