On Friday Scotty and I had an ultrasound that informed us that we are expecting our second daughter! A little surprised and a lot excited, we drove home from our appointment each saying ‘Wow, another girl?!’ I read somewhere in my first pregnancy that 80% of pregnant women think they are having a boy. I fell into that statistic big time! I think because my pregnancy has been so different this time than last, that I figured something had to be different. Since two is our magic number, I think there are some pretty great benefits to having the same gender child. I hope that my girls grow up to be the best of friends and don’t fight… not one time! 😉 I grew up with two brothers and my best friend Kim also had two brothers. How we BOTH ended up with TWO GIRLS is beyond me! The tea parties, dance classes, singing, dancing, and chatting are going to take over our lives!! I wonder sometimes how I will handle two girls, but I see Kim do it and I know that there are some really great things to come! We are so excited to meet our baby, but in the mean time we will enjoy our sleep!!

Two little girls – who would have thought!! I am so excited for Girls Scout camp in about 10 years. Lets leave them there the longest, sound familiar?!? But honestly excited to meet the newest Hatcher and to celebrate this little life. I must hear about 2 times a week from strangers how great it is to have two girls and how they will be such great friends when they are older. That always makes me smile. Enjoy your sleep, really enjoy it. Along with that enjoy your sanity and time to yourself 🙂 Wahooooo!!!!
