Saturday was my brother, Uncle Jer Jer’s, birthday. We spent the day up in Yorba Linda celebrating with my family. Kayden went on a boat ride with Grampy and spent the day running around from person to person getting spoiled with attention. In the morning before we left Kayden refused to keep any clothes on. I stripped off her pajamas and she instantly got a jolt of energy and ran laps around the downstairs. After a few laps she demanded I put on her Uggs. A second wind and she was off again!
After dinner with my family we all sang happy birthday to my brother. Kayden, to my surprise, was able to say Happy Birthday!! She got a little tripped up when we asked her to say ‘Happy Birthday Jer Jer.’ There were just too many words for her! Instead she would say “Happy Jer Jer”!! When we were singing, we’re pretty sure she thought we were singing to her. In her defense, however, even though we were singing to my brother, everyone was looking at Kayden. After the song ended, she wanted to keep on singing!
We had a great time celebrating Jer’s 32nd birthday!! Happy Birthday Jer Jer!!!!
