A few weeks ago I had my anatomy ultrasound that informed us that we were expecting another precious daughter. During that ultrasound they measure every part of the developing baby. Bones, head, feet, limbs, facial features, you name it and they measure it! Our second darling daughter is a lot like Kayden so far in that she is a mover and shaker! She was dancing the whole ultrasound and consequently made it very challenging for the technician to measure each thing! She was able to get a good look at everything except for the heart. She measured the heart beat and looked at it thoroughly, but she wasn’t able to measure anything. My doctor decided to refer me down to La Jolla to get a better look at the heart, just to officially clear it. I went down this morning and little Miss was just as active today as she was at the first viewing! After about an hour of pocking and prodding, we were able to get a good picture of everything. Her heart beat is strong and everything is developing on track. The technician did mention that her feet are pretty big- her tootsies are measuring at 23 weeks and I am 21 weeks and 5 days. Her legs are also measuring a week ahead of schedule. Kayden was the same way! Looks like we’ll have another baby with all As in height, weight, and head percentiles!! Go Hatcher Girls!
Here are the bragging shots from today’s ultrasound. I was really surprised when the technician showed me a 3D shot of the baby! I didn’t get that luxury shot with Kayden, so it was kind of cool to see her up close! I might be biased, but I think she’s pretty darn cute!

Cant even believe how real she looks!! I mean I know she is developing in you and all but to see her!! Holy Cow – totally clear picture. Makes you think twice about that hamburger – hahaha or it would me 🙂 I think you may have convinced me to find out with the next little baby because the baby looks amazing. So special – Congrats! I can’t wait to meet Baby Girl!
