This year for Halloween Kayden and Kloey were matching Fairies. They both, surprisingly, accepted their costumes and wore them with pride. Well, kind of! Kayden did not like to wear her wings because they hurt her arm pits. And Kloey’s costume was a snug fit, but she wore it like a champ! Once the girls were dressed and ready to go, we headed over to our friends’ house and went trick-or-treating.

You’ll notice one very important person is missing from this picture….

She was NOT interested in sitting in a plush sofa with all of her friends that she has known since birth. No, that was too scary. Seriously?!

She was completely happy to take her picture with Eli though!! These two are either going to get married or be best friends for a long time!

After our impromptu photo shoot we headed out trick-or-treating. We started off just like the photo shoot. Tears. Screams. Running in the opposite direction. Once her father bribed her with tasting each and every candy received at the house, she realized there was something to be gained by going up to each doorstep! We hit about 10 houses and then it was time to head home. I’d say it was a success!!

After trick-or-treating we had some time to hand out candy at home. Scotty turned on the fog machine and turned up the Halloween tunes and we greeted quite a few little trick-or-treaters! All and all we had a fantastic Halloween!!
