Kloey is growing up to be my little sassy pants. She has technically been able to sit independently for a while now, but she has always found it so funny to throw herself back or to fall over sideways and then roll. I knew she was capable of sitting up, she she would never do it for longer than a few seconds. FINALLY, she has discovered that sitting up is actually pretty cool! She can now play with new toys and experience the world in a whole new way!

Also, now that she can/will sit, she can sit in a shopping cart! For all moms out there, this is a HUGE step! No more car seats awkwardly teetering in the shopping cart or inconveniently placed in the large part of the cart. She can see the world and therefore is happier about shopping — every mother’s dream! Today was her first outing in the shopping cart at Costco (now that we’re eating again, it was time to stock up!). All was going well until she threw herself backwards and nearly out of the cart! Luckily, her father caught her… and her mother was down another isle!! Miss Kloey wants so badly to be mobile, but without carpet and constantly rolling off my makeshift blanket play area, she isn’t quite there yet. I’m hoping this will happen soon!
