For Christmas Uncle Jer and Auntie Katrina got day passes for Scotty and I to take Kayden to Disneyland. What a perfect gift!! We had been saying that we thought Kayden was approaching the age of going to the “Happiest Place on Earth”, but we weren’t sure she was ready. We needed to prep the princesses and make sure she was ready to ride the rides! After taking her to Sea World many times, we knew she was ready for the rides, but we weren’t sure she would appreciate the magic of Disneyland. After a few months of movie watching, Mickey Mouse Club House watching, princess book reading, and summer approaching, we knew it was time to go!! What perfect timing it was!! We went on a Tuesday in the middle of April (a few weeks out from Spring break and a few months away from summer). Kayden’s father is kind of known for researching and the day we chose was not random!! We arrived when the park opened, rode 7 rides, ate some good treats, explored Tom Sawyers island, ate some more treats, and forced a toy on Kayden to mark her first trip to Disneyland. Jer and Katrina, we truly can’t thank you enough for the gift of Disneyland. We know we will be back soon! Thank you Mimi for watching Kloey so that we could spend the day indulging our first born. We have not spent a day, or even an hour, together with just Kayden. To spend the day spoiling our sweet princess was a wonderful treat! We had a great day, and because we were so engaged in what was going on (aka Tiff’s phone ran out of memory) we didn’t capture half as many pictures as we would have liked. Oh well, the memories live within!! Enjoy what we did capture!!

Our first ride!! It’s A Small World!! A nice way to ease in to the day. A long ride. A slow ride. Good music. Calm. An overall peaceful experience!
Next stop, CHURROS!!
Next up is Lunch! Corn dogs, chicken nuggests, and fries! Seriously, I dropped the ball!! Disneyland has so many awesome restaurants, but for some reason I wanted to go to a rinky-dink restaurant by Pirates of the Carribean thinking they had a plethora of items to choose from. WRONG! They literally had 3 items!! Bummer!! But it still tasted like Disneyland!!
We had a great day riding rides, eating junk, exploring Tom Sawyer’s Island, and trying on Mouse Ears that we knew she’d never wear beyond the store!
We had such a great, and productive day, that little Miss Kayden didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before she indulged in her mid-day nap!!
Kloey, you might not have been invited this time, but you’re super cool anyway!!
