Yeah!! We finally got annual passes to LegoLand. Why the wait? We weren’t sure if Kayden would be old enough (aka tall enough) to enjoy the park up until this point… and then there’s always Kloey! I wanted to wait until an age that I could take both girls and each have things that they could do. I’d say we are at the perfect age! Kayden can ride the rides and Kloey is just as happy to wander around the park touching and exploring everything! There are a handful of rides that Kloey can go on too, so that’s a bonus. There are also a variety of designated areas throughout the park with play structures that both girls enjoy. There are things to climb, slide, ride, and run around.
The park also has an aquarium that we went to earlier this week. I was surprised at how big and kid-friendly it was. From slides to walking under tanks, they really thought of it all. Yet another (now) free activity to do! I should mention, however, that Nam came with us both days. I think I could manage the aquarium by myself with both girls, but not the amusement park! Kloey lasted an hour and a half (probably because she insisted on walking the WHOLE time). And it didn’t help that it was HOT and unless we were in the shade, it was uncomfortable. SoCal problems!! We had great first experiences at the aquarium and park. Thanks Nam for helping me with the girls!!
While we ride, Kloey wanders with Nam!
Kloey’s first ride!
The attractions are made out of Legos!
