The weather in Oceanside (and all of Southern California!) has been HOT!! The best way to beat the heat is to trade in our afternoon walk to an afternoon bike ride to the beach! Every evening we do something to get out of the house. We use to either take a walk to the beach or a bike ride around the neighborhood. Too hot for all that, so we put on our suits and head to the beach to chase to waves almost every night. Scotty brings his ’emergency snow shovel’ (because that ‘s necessary to have in Southern California!) and he digs the girls a big hole. The girls love jumping in the water and gathering beach treasures. Kloey got taken out by a wave a few months ago, so she is approaching the wave jumping with extreme caution. She stays on the sand and makes sandcastles while Scotty and Kayden go collect rocks and shells in the water. I stay somewhere in between. The water is cold! 😉 Here are a few pictures from last night at the beach. We’ll be headed back again tonight!
