Time seems to be flying by these days! It really feels like Kloey is growing and changing each and every day! Kloey has mastered the roll and steam rolls around rooms to get to different items that she wants. It’s funny because if a desired toy is just out of reach, rather than try and thrust herself one centimeter forward, she will roll onto her back and completely forget what she wanted in the change of scenery — from the carpet to the ceiling! Like Kayden, there doesn’t seem to be ANYTHING that this child is so motivated to have that she’ll pull a leg under her and crawl for it! If she can’t reach it, OH WELL!! Unlike Kayden, however, Kloey moves! She no longer gets upset by rolling off the carpet onto the wood floors. She does, however, get upset when she finds herself under a table or partially stuck under the couch. 🙂 Kloey is babbling more and more these days. I’m pretty sure she thinks it’s funny to say Da-Da all day, because I always say ‘No Da-Da, Say MA-MA!!” She always giggles when I say this! Kloey still loves her bouncer and Mommy loves that because it allows me some freedom to get things done! Kloey loves to clap, play patti-cake, and is super ticklish! She is a great sleeper and takes great naps during the day! She is learning to roll with the punches as her sister tries to hold her hand, hug her until she falls over, or play tug-of-war with her (Kloey’s got a great grip!). And finally, I am proud to say that Kloey is FINALLY getting some teeth! We were pretty sure she was teething back in November! The fun part about this is that she is getting her two UPPER teeth first. No bottom teeth yet! I think this means she’ll be getting all four (two upper, two lower) teeth all at the same time! 🙁 So far she is taking it like a champ and we haven’t had any hiccups to sleeping! Kayden never seemed bothered by getting teeth, so my fingers are crossed that Kloey is just as tough! Yes, I just described Kayden as tough! Ha!!
Happy 9 Month Birthday Miss Klo-Bot (our random nickname for Kloey!)
