A mother should never favor one pug over the other. So, while I have committed myself to blogging once a day, I felt it would not be fair for Jinx to be the sole subject of a post. If I knew anything about anything I would know how to put two pictures on one post. Anyway, I have nothing to say about this picture… other than he is adorable!!! <3 My boy!
Pug Needs Dad
So today was quite possibly the most productive day I have had.. EVER!! My dad came down and painted Scotty’s office. The color choice: Sand #03. I think it was a great choice after 5 minutes of contemplation. In my opinion, it turned out great! I can continue with the beach theme by adding some ‘classy’ shells strategically placed throughout the room. Fun!
About the picture. Well, I had mentioned on our home page that the pugs would be a common theme throughout our web page. I am dissatisfied with the lack of smashed noses presented on this website. I am not at all privy to manipulating pictures so that they look right, so after way too long of trying to minimize and stretch the pics, this is the best I could do! Last night the pugs had a photo shoot- so what, I am home alone!! Jinx just hasn’t been the same since she realized that she is without her boyfriend. I will admit, she often times gets the best seat on the couch when Scotty is down here watching a movie- always on his lap. Anyway, if I wasn’t convinced that she missed Scotty, I sure was when my dad got here this morning! She started doing idiot laps and jump kicking him when he was petting her. Some dogs enjoy playing with other dogs (Kooper), others enjoy the playful pat of a human (Jinx). This is why we are looking to get Jinx involved with the elderly- pug therapy! Yes, we did call a few places, and unfortunately it was a Saturday evening and no one was open. For those of us who know Jinx know that she is a bit of a beotch, but if you ever spent any time with her you know that she is happiest when she is the only diva in the house!! Lots of love for Jinx! Peoductive Day
Forget work, I had a very productive day at home today! I got home from work, did some homework, and then decided to get on to some overdue chores. Tomorrow Scotty’s office is getting painted (thanks dad!). I have much prep work to do before my dad comes down. The most important task at hand is cleaning off Scotty’s desk and cleaning out his closet. Now, this isn’t something I should really be doing on my own because what I view as homeless cords are sometimes keep-the-house-buzzing cords and if lost might mean the doom of our home! I decided to take a clear box from the garage and comfortably house the cords until Scotty can go through and decide what can stay and what can go. After about 2 hours, his closet door can now be closed and the surface of his desk can be seen. While this might seem a minor accomplishment, I would bet that anyone who has recently seen my husband’s desk would honor that my work is is well deserving of a nice glass of wine. I only wish I had taken a before photo!

Day #2
Today was rather uneventful. The weather is absolutely beautiful, so nothing really to complain about So I have a new book series that Scotty got me into- First book is Twilight. Unfortunately, the movie is already out so I am trying very hard to get through the book to see the movie while it is still in the theater. Too bad for me that I can’t read for more than 30 minutes at a time! I have 94 pages left so my goal is to finish it by the end of the weekend. Lucky for me (I guess) I don’t have too many other activities on my calendar! As for my girl TV, I never got around to seeing Grey’s Anatomy last night, so that is first on my agenda tonight! Next up, American Idol! Oh, and also, I am doing a no-wine-during-the-week fast. This might sound bad, but I am trying to avoid useless calories! I have replaced one vice (the wine) with another (fresh baked- ready made cookies!- yum!)

Day #1
Today is the first day that Scotty is on test in San Clemente Island. He has forewarned me that 1) there might be NO Internet, and 2) there might not be any cell phone coverage. So, I mentioned that I would blog daily so that if he can get online for a brief moment he can read about our day at home on the mainland. So here goes:
WEDNESDAY
Today was uneventful. Work was productive and the kids held down the fort without incident. After work I worked on homework and surprise surprise I am ahead of things. I have a big project coming up so I am trying to prepare/finish all other little assignments. Since Scotty no longer works from home he spends his time downstairs with me after work. Which I really do LOVE, but it means that I don’t get to watch my girly/trashy TV as often as I’d like. So tonight I am catching up on some reality TV and the old favs like Grey’s Anatomy! Currently, I am watching the Bachelor. It is a little boring, but I will try to stick with it this season! Oh, and also today I arranged for my dad to come down and paint Scotty’s office. We are planning on changing it to more of a guest bedroom. He said I can choose a color, but I’m not sure how he’ll feel about Barbie pink. I am open to suggestions!!
