My new toy- an Apple Watch- arrived yesterday!! I have been anxiously awaiting its arrival for months. Scotty and I (or maybe just Scotty) waited up until midnight two weeks ago to pre-order our watches. For reasons we don’t understand, Scotty’s has not arrived yet. Soooo I guess I’ll play with my new toy alone!! This makes for a very sad Scotty! The watch is every bit as cool as it’s been made to seem on TV. It’s a watch. It’s a phone. It’s an exercise tracker. It’s EVERYTHING cool!! So yeah, I love my new toy! Thanks Scotty!! Hope yours comes soon!!

April is shaping up to be another warm and adventurous month for the Hatchers! We celebrated Easter for a whole weekend… the girls are probably still coming down from their sugar high! We dyed Easter eggs at Mimi and Gampy’s house on Saturday. The girls got a ton of presents and toys that you’d think it was Christmas. Oh to be spoiled… and not rotten!! 😉 The girls have also really gotten into their scooters. We go on evening walks every day and as they are getting older, sitting in the stroller for a long time while mom and dad talk about very uninteresting things, we had to come up with something that would make them excited and want to go each day. So now we pack up the stroller and bring blankets, jackets, dogs, and scooters. It’s quite the site to see!

Okay so now I am caught up and hope to be a little more regular with my posts. What, you’ve heard me say that before?!?! I’ll make sure my tech guy is more available for support this go around!

We had another fun month in March! We went back to Disneyland and had a great time. We rode every ride, several times! We saw parades. We went swimming. We ate a ton of junk. We walked a lot. We had fun!! We started potty training in March and I’m not ashamed to admit that Kloey trained herself. She decided one day that she didn’t need diapers, “because daddy says I’m a big girl”. She only had one accident and that was the day she started. Way to go Kloey!! We went to the beach, Birch Aquarium, and had many fun donut dates!!

February was another super warm month for us in Oceanside. We found ourselves playing at the park, chasing waves at the beach, and swimming in the hot tub. Kayden celebrated Valentine’s Day with her preschool class. I have to pat my own back here and brag about my Pinterest Valentine’s. Nothing fancy, but it was not store bought! I am not creative at all, so Pinterest is a great place for me to find simple, but different things to make. Here are some highlights of our month.

 

February was another super warm month for us in Oceanside. We found ourselves playing at the park, beach, and again in the hot tub. Kayden celebrated her first Valentine’s Day with her class. I have to pat my own back here and brag about my pinterest Valentine’s. No store bought goodies for her first Valentine’s party!!

 

So it’s no surprise that I’ve been out of the game for a few months. I didn’t realize it has been since NOVEMBER since my last post! Wow, time flies! Especially around the holidays. No excuses!! I’ll do a month by month blog post to catch us up to April! Here goes!! Let’s start with the good stuff- PICTURES!!

January was a fun month. The weather was GREAT, so we found ourselves outside a lot. We went to the beach, played in the spa, and rode scooters all month! We went to birthday parties, played dress up (A LOT!!), and went on lots of walks in the stroller. Kayden had her first school project, which means Mommy had her first school project! We brought home the class stuffed animal- Mr. Mooseman- and took him on many adventures. “We” then had to develop the pictures documenting his adventures and write in the class journal. We had fun with Mr. Mooseman!! We also got hair cuts in the month of January. Unfortunately for Kloey, mommy told the lady to go a little short on the bangs! Now that her hair is starting to actually grow, she wants long hair like Kayden. Scotty had a lot of extra time off in January so we also went to Disneyland for a few days. We stayed at the hotel and had three full days in the park. The kids are at the PERFECT age for Disneyland. We have a few more months before out passes cut out for the summer, so expect to see some Disneyland posts soon!
